Overview
This strategy enables the preservation and the continuity of natural systems with minimal impact to the development potential of private properties. While conservation subdivision strategies may be applied on a parcel-by-parcel basis, even more ecological value can be created if conservation subdivision site plans on adjacent properties are coordinated. This supports the Strategy to Link protected areas on individual large parcels.
